Over the summer, three St. Thérèse students participated in
the High School Great Books Program at Thomas Aquinas
College in Santa Paula. Patrick Najera, Maria Rios, and
Deliane Olivo spent two weeks meeting other scholars from
around the country as they explored in greater depth the great
books of Western Civilization. In addition to their exposure to
TAC’s renowned socratic seminars and devout Catholic
spirituality, the aspiring college students enjoyed numerous
recreational activities including hiking, swing dancing, beach
volleyball, and karaoke competitions.
